Eric Martin, MD
Orthopaedic surgeon Eric Martin, MD, brings the latest techniques in total hip and knee replacement surgery to Hudson Valley Ambulatory Surgery, with extensive experience performing all types of hip, knee, and ankle procedures. Dr. Martin serves as the chair of the Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC) Department of Orthopaedics, director of joint replacement surgery at ORMC, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center. He travels monthly to Bellevue Hospital in New York City to perform free orthopaedic surgery on indigent patients.
Dr. Martin attended New York University School of Medicine, from which he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed both a general surgery internship and orthopaedic residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, followed by a fellowship in reconstructive joint surgery at Rush University/St. Luke's Presbyterian Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Martin is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, New York State Orthopaedic Society, and Medical Society of the County of Orange.
Dr. Martin resides in Goshen with his wife and two sons.
