Phillip L. Massengill, MD, FACS
Otolaryngologist and trained opera singer Dr. Phillip L. Massengill, MD, FACS, specializes in treating nasal, sinus, and voice disorders. With expertise in pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat (ENT), endoscopic surgery of the sinus and septum, treatment of ENT allergy, and management of laryngeal and voice disorders, Dr Massengill helps his patients, including singers and actors, breathe, speak, sing, and swallow more easily. In addition to his affiliation with Hudson Valley Ambulatory Surgery, Dr. Massengill is Chair of the Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Department at Orange Regional Medical Center and is practices at ENT & Allergy Associates in Middletown, NY.
Dr. Massengill graduated from Boston University Medical School and completed his surgical internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. He then went on to do a residency and serve as chief resident in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, in conjunction with a residency in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Massengill is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member and representative on the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Massengill is an Iraqi war veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He is active in community organizations in and around Goshen, New York, where he lives with his family.
