Hudson Valley Ambulatory Surgery Receives 3-Year Accreditation

Middletown, NY — Hudson Valley Ambulatory Surgery (HVAS), LLC, a state-of-the-art independent same day surgical center, recently received a three-year accreditation certificate from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The certificate acknowledges the commitment of HVAS to uphold the highest standards in providing quality care and services.

“We are thrilled to be awarded a three-year accreditation, which is a great honor,” said HVAS Governing Chairperson Virginia Feldman, MD, CASC. “HVAS team members, including our surgeons, nurses, and support staff, believe in striving to continually deliver the best care possible to our patients.”

The AAAHC is a private, non-profit organization that develops standards for patient safety, quality care, and value in ambulatory health care. The HVAS accreditation process involved a self-assessment and on-site peer review by the AAAHC team of expert health professionals that measure centers such as HVAS against the AAAHC standards.

“The AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation demonstrates to our patients that HVAS is dedicated to the education, self-evaluation, and continual improvement necessary to maintain standards of excellence,” added Dr. Feldman.
